$600 Reward for Arson Conviction

There is currently a $600 reward for information leading to a conviction in the November 8th burning of Rodney Boudreaux's home. Anyone wishing to pledge additional money for the reward should e-mail mandevillerecall@gmail.com. Information about the fire should be given directly to the State Fire Marshal's office at (800)256-4593.

Louisiana Fire Marshal Butch Browning has concluded that the fire was deliberately set. The investigation of suspects continues. Rodney has asked that everyone remain calm and await the conclusion of the Fire Marshal's investigation. But anyone who can provide information valuable to the investigation should do so by contacting the Fire Marshal directly.

Thank You.

Door to Door

The only way to get all the signatures we need, is to go door to door. We do not have a paid workforce, we need volunteers like you to help canvass neighborhoods. If you are interested in helping with an area, please contact us and we will get you set up. Also, November 1st, we will launch our group door to door efforts. We will meet at a designated location (to be announced), start at one end of Mandeville and continue this strategy until we cover the City of Mandeville. We have 4 more months to complete collection of the 3,000 signatures we are aiming to collect.

Off to a great start!

Even with Gustav on everyone's mind, the amount of people that came out tonight was overwhelming. Not only did people come out to sign, but to pick up packets to collect signatures door to door. More volunteers are still needed as we have a lot of ground to cover.

Thank you all for making tonight a huge success. We will be at the Lakefront Gazebo from 10-2 on Saturday. We have plenty of time to collect signatures, so please all be safe and let's hope the storm misses us.

Next City Council Meeting

Thursday August 28th 7:00

Take back our city

We are an organized group of Mandeville citizens who would like to see Mayor Eddie Price removed from office. Mayor Price has proven to us that he does not lead us responsibly. We are working diligently behind the scenes to dot our i's and cross our t's. When we come forth with the recall petition in the near future, we want everything to go off without a hitch. As of August 20th, there were 7,993 registered voters in the city limits of Mandeville. Twenty five percent of those voter signatures are required to file the recall petition. We hope when the petition comes available that you will put your pen to action and do the right thing.

Stay tuned for press releases and additional information. We will notify the press when we are ready to speak.
