Take back our city

We are an organized group of Mandeville citizens who would like to see Mayor Eddie Price removed from office. Mayor Price has proven to us that he does not lead us responsibly. We are working diligently behind the scenes to dot our i's and cross our t's. When we come forth with the recall petition in the near future, we want everything to go off without a hitch. As of August 20th, there were 7,993 registered voters in the city limits of Mandeville. Twenty five percent of those voter signatures are required to file the recall petition. We hope when the petition comes available that you will put your pen to action and do the right thing.

Stay tuned for press releases and additional information. We will notify the press when we are ready to speak.

Despite the fact that we are on the South Shore, HumidCity supports your efforts. Having a craven excuse for a Mayor of our own we can completely understand.

It s time for an end to the corruption!

I'll be blogging about your site soon, drop me an email.

I have submitted a request for statement from MADD, but haven't heard back yet. Please let me know how I can participate in these efforts. I am a resident of Abita, but am often in Mandeville and find it disgusting that he has refused to step down despite his horrendous actions. Not to mention, the fact that he's still allowed to operate a vehicle is an abomination.

I live just outside the city limits but these recent(and not so recent) events are disturbing. I kept trying to post this site on the forums but to no avail. I was deleted. Good luck. Even though I cannot vote, I still have a Mandeville address. This is getting rediculous!

Fast Eddie will not step down because he thinks he is entitled to have the good citizens of Mandeville pay his legal fees when he is indicted on federal corruption charges. If he resigns he has to come up with attorneys fees out of his pocket. As long as he is MAYOR the city (citizens)will pick up the tab. Good luck Mandeville I hope your recall works.

The whole good ole boys (ungendered) network that runs the city us corrupt. We need to start by getting rid of Fast Eddie, and then continue to clean house.

I have lived on and off in Mandeville since 1956 - we were a lovely little town until unsteady eddie came into office and allowed developers to cut our trees to build still empty houses.
We need better representation that the "good ole boy" mentality.
Please get everyone you know to recall eddie and maybe david cressy too.

I don't know if I am residing "inside" Mandeville's city limits although I live in Pineland Park estates near Franco's Athletic Club at Hwy 22 and Bigner Road in zip 70471.
Can anyone tell me if I am eligible to sign our recall petition?

Pineland Park is not in city Limits

Nothing will happen to Fast Eddie. Note how the DA recused himself? Eddie gets drunk with all the judges, sheriffs and DA on a regular basis. They won't touch their own and anyone who speaks out against them will find themselves getting a visit from the STPSO.

Your hit the nail on the head, it's pretty sad that political officals have the connections that the average citizen never sees. If this had been the average citizen they would still be setting in jail.

How many of you whiners are ready to step up and run for office? How many ran last election? Pretty easy to "Monday morning quarterback." I was going... where were you when Katina hit and right after? Checking the streets? Turning of gas at houses? Fighting with Fema for more money to recover with? Are just sitting on your arse complaining as usual?

Mandevillite Please take your blinders off so maybe you won;t be limited to such tunnel vision.

Mandevilllite,

I can tell you what we weren't doing for Katrina. We didn't loot Winn Dixie's liquor dept. and dragging everything they could carry back to city hall. Where were you?
